@gerrod3 I'm merging this but FYI the tests failed 3 times in a row. Might need an additional patch? I did releases for 2.26 and 2.27, but not 2.24. Whatever is decided we should do a 2.24 release tomorrow |

This is a backport of PR #2329 as merged into main (1f08ceb).
Re-enable the flatpak tests which caused us to missed this issue.
